Round 8 of the New FM competition see South Cardiff with the Bye. Round 9 on Sunday 1st May sees South Cardiff travelling to The Gardens (Sandgate Rd Birmingham Gardens) to take on Wallsend. This will be the first of two legs played for The Gallagher Shield, held in memory of the late Peter Gallagher who played for both South Cardiff and Wallsend. Kick off times are:-

South Cardiff FC is based in Cardiff South, a suburb of Lake Macquarie near Newcastle, New South Wales. We are known as “The Gunners” after the nickname of London club Arsenal. Leagues In 2016, the club will compete in NNSWF’s New FM League in First Grade, U/23s, U/19s & U/17s. The club will also compete in the Westfield FFA Cup. In 2014 the club appeared in the Round of 32 of the inaugural FFA Cup.

The club plays its home matches at the Ulinga Sports Complex which is located at Cross Street South Cardiff. The Complex has four fields, two training and match, all with floodlights for night games and training.
